In order to recover from an injuy or disease it’s crucial to be therapy complaint. E.g. doing your excersises and taking your medicine. In reaching a goal in sport it’s no different. Stick to the plan and reach the finish!
I was for 80% complaint with last months’ schedule. I skipped some trainings or replaced them for some alternative trainings. I noticed that the trainings I added had a negative impact on my body. The crossfit session on the beach, the rowing challenge & the cycling tour all resulted in minor injuries. It’s almost like my body said: ‘why the rush? – just follow the schedule!’
